Different types of laser marking machines have different wavelengths. No matter which type of laser marking machine, its application range is limited, so in practical application, do not use a single laser marking machine for laser marking products of different materials.
The effect of laser marking is through the evaporation of the surface material to reveal the deep material, so as to carve out patterns, trademarks and text, laser marking machine is mainly divided into, CO2 laser marking machine, ultraviolet laser marking machine, fiber laser marking machine. Mainly used in some of the requirements of fine, high precision occasions. Used in electronic components, integrated circuits (IC), electrical appliances, cell phone communications, hardware, tools, precision instruments, glasses, clocks and watches, jewelry, automotive parts, plastic buttons, building materials, PVC pipes and so on.
Laser marking machine can be divided into UV laser marking machine, fiber laser marking machine, CO2 laser marking machine and other types according to the different ways of generating laser. According to the different types of laser marking machines, the scope of application is also very different. Here's why different materials use different laser marking machines.
1. Fiber laser marking machine
Fiber laser marking machine using fiber laser output laser, and then through the high-speed scanning detector system to achieve the marking function. The fiber marking machine has a high photoelectric conversion rate and can engrave metal materials and some non-metallic materials.
Use: It is mainly used in the field of high depth, smoothness and fineness. If it is metal marking, fiber laser marking machine is most suitable. It can also hit a part of plastic, such as ABS.
2. UV laser marking machine
UV laser marking machine relies on laser energy to break the bond of atoms or molecules, causing them to turn into small molecules and evaporate. Due to its very small focus and small processing impact area, it can be used for ultra-fine marking and special material marking.
Uses: mainly used for ultra-fine processing, such as marking the surface of the iPhone, cosmetics, drugs, food and other polymer material packaging bottles; flexible printed circuit board marking and scribing: silicon wafer microvia and blind hole processing: liquid crystal glass, glassware surface, metal surface coating, etc.
3. CO2 laser marking machine
CO2 laser marking machine will be the laser beam through the beam expansion, detector and focusing, and finally by controlling the deflection of the detector to achieve marking.CO2 laser is the wavelength of 10 infrared band. In a 64um gas laser, CO2 gas is charged into a discharge tube as a medium for generating laser light. When the voltage across the electrodes is increased, a glow discharge is generated in the discharge tube, which releases laser light from the gas molecules. After the laser energy is amplified, a laser beam is formed for material processing. Automatic marking is achieved by changing the path of the laser beam via computer control of the galvanometer. In other words, the laser beam is used to irradiate the surface of the material and the light energy is instantly converted into heat energy, resulting in instant melting or even vaporization of the surface of the material, thus forming the mark. Marking materials: wood, leather, acrylic board, silicone, ceramics and so on.
Uses: Mainly used in non-metallic industries, such as food, medicine, wine, electronic components, integrated circuits (IC), electrical appliances, cell phone communications, building materials, PVC pipes and other industries.
